Hyphen Cherished Number Plates

For private vehicle, someone dared to spend some money to get an antique license plate, unique, and has a meaning. cherished number plates usually are a combination of letters and characters that have meaning for the owner of the vehicle.
cherished number plates are becoming more popular and the plate numbers are released by the DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency) which issued the license plate number. many people try to get their favorite plate number.
many private clients or dealers who follow the auction number plates cherished number plates. where they bid to get license plate numbers of their favorites.
cherished number plates to make the vehicle look unique and personal. license plate numbers will be suitable for various vehicle brands. Dateless Suffx style plates and plates are the two types of license plates that have been popular. Dateless number plates keep going up in value due to the nature of the plate, you are Able to place a dateless number plate on any aged vehicle, whether it be old or brand new.

Basically the two computer networks have different network addresses, will be able to connect. however, there is a device that can connecting both different networks. that is by using router.
primary router is a device usually used to interconnect networks that can connecting two computer networks that different network addresses.

there are several types of routers, such as that issued by Cisco routers. and there is a Router is in the form of a PC with linux OS that functioned to be a PC router. both type of This router has advantages of each. Cisco Router which is a special device that simply acts as a router that are reliable, and easy to use and the price is very expensive Cisco routers. I guess it's comparable to the services provided.
while the PC router has a much cheaper price, but in a PC-router service less than the maximum and the durability would be far different compared with CISCO Routers. because the PC router just a regular computer that were transferred to be a Router.

on Essentially, the devices making up the Router with Other computer.
The following are the devices that make up the CISCO Router:
1. CPU (Central Processing Unit)
Serves to execute instructions in the Operating System. Another function is the system initialization, routing functions and controls the network interface. Great router has multiple CPUs.

2 RAM (Random Access Memory)
Function for routing table information, fast switching cache, running configuration and the packet queue. RAM is usually divided into two in a logic that is primary processor memory and shared memory input / output (I / O).

3 Flash
Serves to store the entire IOS (Internetworking Operating System)
software image. Routers are generally looking for an operating system on the flash.

4 NVRAM (nonvolatile Random Access Memory)
Serves to store the start up configuration.

5 Bus
Most routers contain a system bus and CPU bus. System bus used for communication between the CPU and interfaces. CPU bus used by the CPU to access the router component of the storage media.

6 ROM (Read Only Memory)
Function to save start up permanent diagnostic code (ROM Monitor). The main task is to diagnose hardware ROM during boot up and move the router IOS software from Flash to RAM.

7 Interface
Is the exit router connection. There are three types of interface that is a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) and Management. LAN Interface usually be one of the types of Ethernet and Token Ring. WAN interfaces including serial, ISDN and integrated Channel Service Unit (CSU). Management console port and AUX port contains the serial port used to connecting router and the administrator. This port is not a network port. This port using a particular application running on a computer that is connected through a communication port on the computer or using modem.

8 Power Supply
Provides the power needed to operate the internal components.

CLI (Command Line Interface) Mode Is a user interface of the router using a text-based commands. There are several commands that are often used to configure the router, including:

1. enable
Used to activate the router or access privilege mode from user mode. And vice versa using the command disable.

2. configure terminal
Used to start the configuration of the router device is connected to the network.

3. interface FastEthernet0/0
Used to start the configuration interface FastEthernet0/0

4. interface serial2/0
Used to start the configuration interface serial2/0.

5. ip address
Used to give ip address on the interface, whether it is Fast Ethernet, token ring, serial and ISDN. The command uses the ip address format addresses from interface> . Examples are: ip address

6. clock rate
Used to set the clock rate of the interface, typically using clock rate interface is a serial interface. The command uses the format clock rate of clock . Examples are: clock rate 64 000.

7. no shutdown
Used to activate the interface.

8. exit
Used to exit from configuration mode.

Wide Area Network

WAN (Wide Area Network) is a computer network with a Wide area and is a collection of many smaller networks such as LAN or MAN. WAN usually have use a satellite or cable under the sea for connecting each computer on the network. with the WAN you can contact other computers that were located very far only in a few minutes.

one example of a WAN is the Internet (Interconnecting Network) that connects many computers available throughout the world. so you can communicate quickly. with the WAN you can save time and cost. because in order to communicate you do not need to travel from your place.
Another example of the benefits of a WAN is a video telekonference. with video telekonference you can communicate face to face directly. and video telekonference also commonly used for meetings with members separated by distance.

MAN (metropolitan area network)

MAN (metropolitan area networks) are networks that scale larger than a LAN (Local Area Network) and usually a combination of several LAN that are connected in a city. in this case the network connecting small networks to form a larger network. as examples of existing networks among school sector in the city that connects all the schools that exist abroad.
between MAN and LAN is actually the same concept, but only the scope of Its area is different. LAN only covers a small area such as in an office or school. MAN while more area with coverage area of a city.

Computer Networks And Local Area Network

computer network is a connection between one computer to another computer by using the supporting device. computer network shared some computer network based on the distance of the network coverage. among which:
  1. 1. LAN(Local Area Network)
  2. 2. MAN(Metropoitan Area Network)
  3. 3. WAN(Wide Area Network)
computer networks have the advantage of them:
  1. 1. for sharing resources
  2. 2. help maintain the information in order to remain reliable and up to date
  3. 3. faster process of sharing data.
  4. 4. sharing hardware.
  5. 5. and much more.

LAN (Local Area Network) is a computer network design that has a small scale. normally used for a room and consists of several computers. to create a network of computers with a Type LAN, we need some support device. such a switch or hub that serves as a concentrator / terminal gathering data packets from one computer to be distributed to the destination computer, cables, connectors.
to design computer networks by type of LAN, we must choose a topology concepts to help us in building a computer network. for topics this time I will build a computer network with STAR topology. because the star topology is very easy to build and if there is a network troubleshooting, it would be easy to repair.
installation preparation
  1. 1. prepare computer use within NIC
  2. 2. provide a place to network.
  3. 3. Design a network using STAR topology
  4. 4. determine the cable path so as not to obstruct the way.
  5. 5. provide cable UTP / STP.
  6. 6. RJ-45 connectors to taste.
  7. 7. prepare Crimping Tool to crimp the cable to the connector.
  8. 8. Cable Tester, for checking the quality of the cable that was made.
  9. 9. DAK cable
  10. 10. Switch or HUB

installation phase
1. layout location of all computer and switch / HUB. for all the computers get the same connection, because if the computer is too far, will affect the process of data transmission.
2. measuring cable from the switch / hub to each computer.
3. make a cable with straight-over type. Crimping tool for ease of use.
4. check the cable using a cable tester.
5. Connect from any computer to the switch / hub (as the concentrator)
6. computer settings through the operating system used.

Some LAN configuration model, a computer is usually used as a File Server. which is used to store software that manage network activity. or as software that can be used by the computers that connect to the network. computers connected to the network is usually referred to as a workstation. Usually the ability under the File servers and workstations have other applications on the hard drive in addition to applications for the network. Most LANs use the media cable for connecting one computer to another.
so, Enough I share my knowledge with you for today. This knowledge may be useful for those of you who read it

Types of cables in STAR Topology

Almost all computer networks are now using LAN topology with STAR topology type. because the star topology has the ease of maintenance and repair networks in the event of problems on the network.
The star topology there are two types of cable that can be used. cable is basically used both use UTP or STP cable. but the division here is based on the number eight wire arrangement found on cable UTP / STP.
eight cables have eight different colors, there are:
  1. 1. white-orange
  2. 2. orange
  3. 3. white-green
  4. 4. green
  5. 5. white-blue
  6. 6. blue
  7. 7. White-brown
  8. 8. Brown
two types of cable that I mentioned above is the Cross-overs and Straight-over. to the concept of wiring as well there are two types, namely T568A and T568B.

T568A arrangement
  1. 1. white-orange
  2. 2. orange
  3. 3. white-green
  4. 4. blue
  5. 5. white-blue
  6. 6. green
  7. 7. White-brown
  8. 8. Brown

T568B arrangement:
  1. 1. white-green
  2. 2. green
  3. 3. white-orange
  4. 4. blue
  5. 5. white-blue
  6. 6. orange
  7. 7. White-brown
  8. 8. Brown

To make STRAIGHT-OVER cable, I recommend to use the T568A arrangement at both ends of the cable. CROSS-OVER while for cable, I recommend to use the Type T568A on one end of the cable. and one end of the cord longer use T568B arrangement.
although there are different opinions with me, but I used to use way of wiring above to build a network.
differences in the use of straight-over cable and CROSS-OVER cable is as below:

check the cable using a cable tester is as below:
insert both ends of the cable to the cable tester

Straight-over then indicator lights on the left and right will light up simultaneously with the position
And if the cross-over then indicator lights on the left and right will light up simultaneously with the position

Among the knowledge I have to say about the wiring on a computer network with star topology

Mesh Topology

This is the last network topology that I will discuss. after discussing the bus topology, Ring topology, Star topology, Hybrid star topology, and the last is the Mesh topology.
Among other topologies, mesh topology have excessive relationship between the existing equipment. So its structure, each existing equipment in the network are connected to each other. Can be imagined, if amount of equipment that is connected very much, certainly it would be very difficult to controlled than only a few devices that connected.
Installation of Mesh Topology

Most networks that use a mesh topology would have difficulty in installation if the equipment that is connected number had grown a lot, because the amount of relationships that connected more and more amount. So if any n equipment (computers) that we will connect, then the calculation is n (n-1) / 2. So if there are 5 computers, then the relationship will be created as many as 5 (5-1) / 2 or 10 ties. So if a computer that is connected increasingly more so the more the relationship will be regulated. This topology is suitable to be used on small systems.

The benefits of using mesh topology there are:
  • • The main advantage of using a mesh topology is fault tolerance.
  • • Guarantee the communication channel capacity, because it has a relationship of excess.
  • • Relatively easy to do troubleshoot.

Disadvantages of Using Mesh Topology
Mesh topology has deficiencies as follows:
  • • The difficulty at the time of installation and reconfiguration when amount of computers and devices that connect increasingly increase amount.
  • • huge costs to maintain the relationship of excess.

Hybrid Star Network

we can use some type of cable to implement star network. Hybrid hub can be used to accommodate some types of cable in a star network.

The benefits of using Star Topology
We can take benefits in using this hybrid topology are:
  • • It is easy to modify and add computers to in network using star topology without disrupting network activity was progress. We just simply add New cable from our computer to a central location (central location) and attach the cable to a hub. When the capacity of the hub
  • center already exceeds capacity, then we just replace the hub with a hub that has more number of ports.
  • • Center of star network is a good place to diagnose errors that occur in the network. Intelligent hub is a hub which is equipped with microprocessors that in addition to having features in addition to repeating the network signal is also a centralized monitoring and management of the network.
  • • If one computer in network is damaged then the computer will not turn off the entire star network . Hub can detect errors in network and separate the damaged computer from the network and allow network to reoperate.
  • • We can use several types of cables in the same network hub that can accommodate different types of cable.

Lack of using Star Topology
Star topology has the following shortcomings:
  • Have one point of error, lies in the hub. If the central hub fails, the entire network will fail to operate.
  • Requires a tool in the central point for rebroadcasting or change of network traffic
  • Need more cable for all network cables to be pulled into one central point, so more needs more cable than other network topologies.
