World's First Electronic Computer.

world's first electronic computer named ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator And Computer). Computers began to be built on May 17, 1943 as Project PX and built in the Moore School of Electrical Engineering since mid-1944, and officially is operated since February 1946 after a cost of $ 500,000. He then turned off on November 9, 1946 to be renewed and improved memory. ENIAC is disclosed to the public on February 14, 1946 at the University of Pennsylvania and moved to Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland in 1947. On July 29 the same year, ENIAC is turned on and will continue to operate until 23:45 pm on October 2, 1955.

ENIAC is handled by a team which consists of eight women who programmed ENIAC to manipulate thousands kabeldan the switch, measuring 2.4 mx 0.9 mx 30 m, has 17,468 vacuum tubes, crystal diodes 7200, 1500 transmitter, 70.000 resistors, capacitors 100,000, 5 million soldered joints, and weighs 27 tons.

History Of Linux

Name of Linux is a unique combination among name of its creator and the name which becomes the target operating system (UNIX). It all began from an operating system named Minix. Minix was made by Professor Andrew Tanenbaum. Minix is an operating system like Unix that works on PCs. Torvald is a student at the University of Helsinki using Minix. Although good enough, he has not considered adequate Minix.
And then in 1991 he made an operating system which is a UNIX clone, named Linux.
As with Minix, Linux does not use any code from the commercial UNIX vendors, so Torvalds distribute Linux on the internet free of charge.
On October 5, 1991, Torvalds posted his operating system in newsgroups comp.os.minix. He announced that the Linux source code is available and ask for help other programmers to participate developing it. While it Linux is still half-baked, this operating system could only run a few UNIX commands, like bash, gcc and gnu-make. While Linux 1.0 was released in 1994, this operating system has been quite stable and has many features, like preemptive multitasking (the ability to share CPU resources for many applications) and symmetric multiprocessing (the ability to divide tasks among multiple CPUs).
Linux even has a mascot which by Torvalds himself described as "a penguin which adorable and friendly, which
satiety after eating a lot of herring. "
In 1996, the Linux development teams is all over the world began to gave results. That year they have created version of Linux for some versions of hardware, from the Atari ST to a Macintosh. Linux continues to develop rapidly, mainly because there are some distributors (like RedHat, Caldera, etc.) that competed for market share scramble. Therefore formed a group named the Linux Standard Base.
The group is working to ensure that have various Linux distributions which still can run the same applications and interoperability with each other. now, there are seven The most popular distributions of Linux. there are :
  1. 1. RedHat Linux, the most popular distributors in the U.S. and one of the most easy to use.
  2. 2. Mandrake Linux, the distributor which adding updates and patches for Red Hat Linux.
  3. 3. Caldera Open Linux, distibrusi Linux installation and graphical user environment that's good.
  4. 4. Suse Linux, the most popular Linux distribution in Europe.
  5. 5. Slackware Linux.
  6. 6. Debian GNU / Linux.
  7. 7. Turbo Linux, the most popular Linux distribution in Asia, which provides support for Asian character sets.

                        UK Broadband

                        by: neil shevlin
Ever since August 2000 when BT first launched their broadband internet package, speeds have been increasing and prices have been dropping. The end aim of the UK government and all broadband providers is high-speed internet in every home in Britain.

Broadband is the name given to always-on, high-speed internet. High-speed internet is a connection that runs at 512Kbps or faster. Currently 6 million homes in the UK have a broadband connection, either through ADSL, Cable or LLU, of which 4 million are connected by ADSL.

The fastest commercially available internet connection out there is 8Mbps. With such a fast speed users can download music in seconds, stream live television and be shared between a household of computers so all the family can have a decent internet connection.

Wanadoo Broadband, the main competitor to BT broadband is running a LLU trial over summer 2005. Local Loop Unbundling is currently only used by 1% of households but if trials prove successful Wanadoo could be switching to this instead of BT’s ADSL which is really what all other ADSL providers use. LLU is only possible now BT have been forced to surrender their open loop (their network of telephone lines over the country) and will involve Wanadoo installing their own equipment at BT telephone exchanges to by-pass BT’s network and onto their own. For the customer this means Wanadoo internet will be cheaper and faster in the not-so-distant future.

BT have 1.7 million people subscribed onto their broadband where Wanadoo have 0.7 million. Other main contenders in the broadband war are Tiscali, Homecall, Pipex and AOL. All offer their own competitive prices. The main Cable provider in the UK is NTL.

Recently many ISP’s have been increasing their internet speeds to fight off the competition. The standard ADSL connection at the moment is 2Mbps, with 8Mbps at the high end and 512Kbps at the low. As well as increasing the speed and price ISP’s have also been putting up the bandwidth allowances for their customers. Typically your bandwidth allowance may be 3 GB, with 1 GB at the low end and unlimited at the high end.

ISP’s implement bandwidth allowances with the increasing popularity of downloading music, TV shows and films from the internet. 1-2 GB is more than enough for normal WebPages and chat room access but limited if you wish to download a lot of music and video files. Since most people download such files illegally it isn’t a large problem, but if you accidentally go over your monthly limit you could spend the rest of the month with a limited internet speed or no access at all.

The main complaint of users in the early days of Broadband Britain was accessibility. Many BT exchanges were simply out of date and the phone lines incapable of handling such fast data streams. Today 96.6% of all UK households are within a broadband area and BT is constantly upgrading their existing network, aiming to cover the entire country as soon as possible.

Broadband in the United Kingdom is expanding faster and faster. Package prices are decreasing and speeds are increasing with heavy competition on all sides. The future sees Internet becoming an ever increasing presence in each UK household, replacing televisions, radios and telephones. How Do I Get Traffic To My Website?

                        By
                        Vickie J Scanlon

Internet Marketing requires you to sale other people’s products or services, or if you have decided to create your own product, sale your own. But whether you are selling your own or others, we all have one thing in common – getting traffic to our websites. But what is most important is not just getting traffic, but targeted traffic. Thus, How Do you or I get traffic to our sites?

In my early beginnings on the Internet, I tried many methods of getting traffic to my website. I was definitely a newbie in training – some of the software or services that I bought did me no good. I found, at times, that it was truly difficult to decipher which was a good deal and which was not – who was honest, and who was not – but I guess it goes with the Internet territory – and you must always do your due diligence.
However, I have found three methods of getting traffic to my site or affiliate product or service – Buying it – PPC, such as Google, Mamma, Overture, linking or the hard one Search Engine Optimization.

                        Pay-Per-Click
If you have the money to invest in Google or some of the other search engines pay-per-click programs you can make some money. Here you create an ad or ads relevant to your affiliate program, and place a bid on the keywords you select. This takes time, energy, persistence and money – and research. Also, I would advise that you read your affiliate programs rules, as well as, the rules of Google Adwords before jumping into the pay-per-click arena. You usually have to put “aff” after your ad or something similar to that – it’s dependent upon the affiliate program you are in. The idea with pay-per-click is that you pay only when the individual clicks on your ad.

                        Linking

Linking can be by either paid or unpaid methods. The paid methods are paying for your link to be shown in Ezines, newsletters or on other peoples’ sites. It can be costly, so the best suggestion that I can give you is to research the Ezines, newsletters and or other people sites that you want to link with before buying. In most cases, if ezines are accepting advertising, you know they must have at least 500+ subscribers, or I should say, be sure that they have at least 500+ subscribers before advertising in their ezine. Know what you are getting before you put your money down – and as they always say, be sure to read the fine print.

The unpaid method is through article creation. This requires hard work on your part, but the return will be seen in the long term. Keep in mind, your articles should be relevant and address the subject matter of your site and products. Content reigns king on the Internet – and if it is relevant to their needs – they will eventually come to read.

                        Search Engine Optimization
Search Engine Optimization is basically the optimization of your web pages so that you can get a decent ranking by the search engines, and thus, to pull people to your website by it relevance. This is a difficult chore and needs to continually be worked at – and within the ethics of the Search Engines.

To conclude, getting targeted people to your site is really part of growing your business. And Internet marketing – well, it’s not for the faint-hearted, but for the determined, persistent individual who wants to really make a living on-line. Thus, if you really want to make a living on-line – don’t give up and promote.

                        Wireless LAN Topology

                        1. Centralized
Another name is star or hub-based network. This topology composed from a server and some user terminals, where communication between user terminals must go through the terminal server first. The benefit is enough large coverage area, transmission relative efficient and relatively simple design of the terminal because of the complexity there is not on the server. The weakness is delay of wireless LAN large and if the network broken then the network could is work

                        2. Distributed
Could be called with peer to peer, where
all terminals could communicate with each other without requiring a controller (server). Here server is required to connect the wireless LAN to other LAN. This topology could support mobile operations and is the ideal solution for ad hoc networks. Advantages if one broken then the network terminals remain functional, less delay of and complexity of the planning was minimal. The weakness is there is not a network control unit (power control, access and timing).

                        3. Cellular network
This network is suitable to serving large coverage area and mobile operations. This network
utilizes the concept of microcell frequency technique. The benefit is could combine the advantages and remove weaknesses from both of topologies above. The weakness to have a high design complexity.

How To Strengthen the Signal a Wireless Modem With a Very Low Cost

How To Strengthen the Signal a Wireless Modem With a Very Low Cost
There may be one of you that have a wireless modem, but the signal is limited. or a weak signal? maybe I lilltle share knowledge by giving them know bagaamana ways to strengthen the wireless signal to the modem and surf the Internet at speeds faster than ever with a stronger signal as well.
so to strengthen the wireless signal of your modem does not need to spend a lot of money. because of the way that I give use a tool that may exist around you. you enough just provide pan(or something which made from aluminium like alumunim glass), and a USB interface cable is enough. for long or short the USB interface cable, depending on where you will put the devices.
This way my actual adoption of the "wajan Bolic" that could strengthen the USB wireless signals from a maximum of 100 meters to 2 kilometers.
                        the steps are as below:
                        1. plug your wireless modem with USB interface cable. wireless modem so you do not glued to connect with the I / O ports on the motherboard or USB ports dicasing.
                        2. save your modem wireles right in the middle of the focal point of the pan. or attach a wireless modem with a label affixed to the tip.
                        3. save and navigate the pan to the place you think has the stronger signal. It aims to obtain maximum signal.
                        4. Connect to your computer. you will get a strong signal and surfing / browsing faster.

this way has proved successful and has been used by many people. because of signal towers connected by broadband will be reflected by the pan will be received / captured by the wireless modem located in the middle of the focal point of the pan.
                        I hope this article useful.

                        thanks

Negative Impacts Of WIFI (Wireless Fidelity)

Negative Impacts Of WIFI (Wireless Fidelity) - Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity), better known as wireless local networks increasingly popular, especially in developed countries and developing countries. With wi-fi people could enter to the Internet without the hassle of connecting cable from your computer to a phone line.
Behind the convenience offered wi-fi, there are some who think public confidence wi-fi have a negative impact on health. Those who disagree with the presence of wi-fi reasoned electro magnetic radiation from wi-fi can cause pain in the head, sleep disturbances and nausea, especially for those who electrosensitive. But was it wi-fi health hazard?
Fear of adverse impacts on health wi-fi is countered British scientists. As disclosed Sir William Stewart, chairman of the Health Protection Agency, told the BBC Panorama Programme, there's nothing to worry about with wi-fi technology. There was no definite evidence that says, devices such as mobile phones and wi-fi cause impaired health.
Similar also disclosed Professor Lawrie Challis, of Nottingham University. In his statement to the BBC, Professor Challis, who served as chairman of Mobile Telecommunications and Health Research (MTHR) said: "electro-magnetic radiation from Wi-fi is very small, low power transmitter too, but it is still some distance to the body.
"It could be electro-magnetic radiation is very near to body, while we assume the laptop, but in my observations of each parent will asked their children to not be too often use their mobile phones and always asked them to put the laptop on the table, not on your lap, if they surf too long. "
To support this statement, the BBC Panorama team visited a school in Norwich, who has a thousand students, and try to compare the levels of radiation from mobile phones and the use of wi-fi in the classroom. The results showed wi-fi radiation in a classroom three times larger than the radiant issued by cell phone.
But the psychological health expert Professor Malcolm Sperrin told wi-fi signal greater than three times the radiation of mobile phones in a school is not relevant, because it has not found its influence on health.
"Wi-fi is a technology that uses radio waves, low electro magnetic , which is comparable to a microwave oven, even 100 thousand times lower than the microwave."
This type of radiation transmitted radio waves (wi-fi), microwaves, and phones have shown increased levels of network temperature is very high, which is called a thermal interaction, but there is still no evidence that level cause damage.
Health Protection Agency says sitting in a room that has a hotspot for a year comparable to to radio waves emitted during a conversation to phone for twenty minutes.
"Radio waves has become a part of our lives for almost a century or more, but if there is a significant disruption to health, there must be studies that will record it, and during these various studies still have not found evidence of transmission to health wi-fi.
The same thing also supported by Professor Will J Stewart, fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, who said: "Science has been studying the health effects of mobile phones for many years and worries about the impact of mobile phone radiation is still very small.
"So also to wi-fi, if used within reasonable limits there would be no effect on health in a long time. But that does not mean that all electro-magnetic radiation is not dangerous, such as sunlight proven to cause skin cancer, so if you use a laptop while sunbathing on the beach, it's good to find a shady place, "added Sperrin who said that until now there is still no sufficient evidence berrarti negative impact of wi-fi.
But more worried Sperrin not on wi-fi wave, but the behavior in the use of laptops, and laptop heat generated in some sensitive parts of the body, which affect health.

                        Cheaper IPhone From Apple

Apple designed the new iphone is cheaper to use google android. as we know that Apple always release products are expensive. butnow apple iphone the cheap product design and one-third sizesmaller than the iphone are currently available. Apple will fix the price of $ 200/unit for the iphone this latest model.

Reiterating rumors that have been around for some time, the reportalso said that Apple's iPhone work on the dual-mode that will workwith GSM and CDMA networks.

Verizon Wireless today began selling the iPhone 4. Analysts predictthat the company can sell about 8 million iPhones in 2011.

How long does Age of the Sun?

Our own sun had already spent about half of his life and will be dimmed.

VIVAnews - Age of each star is different, depending on how big the size of the star. A star like the Sun has a lifespan of about 10 billion years. The s
tar who weighs 20 times more than the Sun, only lived about 10 million years.

As quoted from Life's Little Mysteries, February 10, 2011, the star started his life as a dense cloud of gas and dust. Once stars are formed, it burns hydrogen into helium.

After the hydrogen started out on fire, the next burning phase began burning the helium into heavier elements.

If the star has a size that is not too large,
or only several times the size of the Sun, the star will eventually become a white dwarf star
called a white dwarf or normal.

If the star has a much larger size, first of all he will explode into, and then explode back out in a supernova explosion. Then, what about our Sun?
Using computer modeling technique called Stellar Evolution andNucleocosmochronology, the Sunwhich is also a star like other stars, is 4.57 billion years old. Currently, he is running about half his life in which at this time, nuclear fusion reactions in the core of the Sun convert hydrogen to helium.
Since Sun does not have enough mass to e
xplode as a supernova, within 5 billion years into the future, when hydrogen runs out hers, she willbecome a red giant star and then will shrink. (hs)

                        EVDO

EVDO or 1x EVDO or 1x EVDO standard high-speed broadband wireless network. EVDO stands for "Evolution Data Only" or "Evolution Dara optimized" or the official term CDMA2000 high-speed data interface. EVDO is one of the major standards of wireless third generation (3G).

EVDO has advantages compared with ordinary CDMA. such as:
                        1. certainly more saves frequency spectrum of regulators and certainly very expensive,
                        2. lowering development costs and take advantage of new tissue.

in America EVDO used by Verizon and Sprint ,in Korea is also used . When this article was made EVDO not very influential in the European market and the majority of Asia because the region is already chose 3G as their choice.

EVDO has some revised standards that are intended to continue to develop this network. such as EVDO Rev.0 with speed 2.4Mbps , 3.1Mbps speed EVDO Rev.A. and EVDO Rev.B with 9.3 Mbps speed can even if the device supporting 14Mbps encapai support.

Created only for CDMA EVDO using radio frequency. EVDO would be optimal if the region there are EVDO network. if not, then you will only enjoy the 1X-RTT network with a maximum speed of 152Kbps.

Cara Cepat Menaikan Google Page Rank

Ketika posisi kamu 20, jumlah backlink = 1
                        Posisi 19, jml backlink = 5
                        Posisi 18, jml backlink = 25
                        Posisi 17, jml backlink = 125
                        Posisi 16, jml backlink = 625
                        Posisi 15, jml backlink = 3,125
                        Posisi 14, jml backlink = 15,625
                        Posisi 13, jml backlink = 78,125
                        Posisi 12, jml backlink = 390,625
                        Posisi 11, jml backlink = 1,953,125

                        Good luck

                        selamat mencoba.

Tips to get internet connection in hotspot areas with high speed

most of the free hotspots provide a very slow connection. as I did, it takes half an hour just to open the email.
maybe this is the old way used by the networker. but I'll share the little knowledge I have with people who are non-networker. follow these steps:

                        1. go to the hotspot areas.
                        2. find a place close to the Wireless Router. because the working system of wireless router is transmitting a signal in all directions. and if you are near a wireless router, you will get a stronger signal.
                        3. turn on the laptop / notebook / netbook or another.
                        4. turn on your wireless network adapter to capture the signal.
                        5. download Netcut . you can download at 4shared or ziddu or others for free.
                        6. netcut installed on your computer.
                        7. after installation is complete, run and automatically netcut will collect data computers that are connected to the wireless network place.
                        8. checklist protect my ip address. and block all computers list in the list box.
                        9. and click the "Cut Off". thus all the wireless Internet connection network in the area you will enjoy yourself. "Keep what about Other People?" all users except you will not connect to Wireless network / WiFi.
just enjoy free internet access is fast.

and tricks that are most important after the step was successful is to put the face of idiotic / face Polos / baby face. to avoid the suspicion of others.

This trick is actually not only be used in the wireless area network. but can be used in network-based LAN (Local Area Network)

                          good luck.

                        Wireless Standards

perhaps most networker has to know about wireless networking standards
released by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), which consists of a couple of types of generation of wireless standards. among which:
                        1. 802.11
This are first wireless standards released by IEEE in 1997. 802.11 was taken from a group formed to oversee the development of wireless. 802.11 unfortunately is only supported by the maximum network bandwidth of 2Mbps, and too slow for most applications. sehngga not produced anymore.

                        2. 802.11bin July 1999, the IEEE create a new specification called 802.11b which supports up
to 11Mbps. running at 2.4 GHz. but can be disrupted by various household appliances. such as microwaves, cordless phones, and other equipment that runs on the same frequency.
                          *superiority of 802.11b :low cost, good signal coverage and is not easily obstructed;
*weaknesses of 802.11b : slowest speed can be disrupted by maksmum and household appliances that use unregulated frequencies 2.GHz.

                        3. 802.11a
while the IEEE made a second extension, called 802.11a. 802.11b and 802.11a actually
made together. but 802.11b gained popularity more quickly because 802.11a is more expensive than 802.11b. 802.11a runs at a frequency of 5GHz and supports 54Mbps bandwidth. with a higher cost, 802.11a is often used in business networks abroad. 802.11b while serving the domestic market. with 802.11a frequency differences, the two networks are not compatible with 802.11b.
                          * superiority of 802.11g - the maximum speed; regulated frequencies prevent signal interference from other devices * weaknesses of 802.11a, high cost; shorter range signal that is more easily obstructe
                          d

                        4. 802.11g
in the year 2022-2003, IEEE sets standards that combines 802.11a with 802.11b, named
54Mbps 802.11g with bandwidth and runs at 2.4GHz frequency. because it runs on the same frekuennsi, then 802.11g is compatible with 802.11b. so that 802.11g will run on an 802.11b adapter.
                          * superiority of 802.11g: maximum speed of 802.11g are fast, good signal coverage and is not easily obstructed
                          * weaknesses of 802.11g : more expensive than 802.11b; appliances can interfere with the signal at a frequency that is not regulated.

                        5. 802.11n
Newest IEEE standard in Wi-Fi 802.11n category. It is
designed to improve 802.11g in the amount of bandwidth
that is supported by the many advantages of wireless signals and antennas (called MIMO technology) instead of one.
When this are final standard, 802.11n connection must support data rates over 100 Mbps. 802.11n also offers somewhat better range over earlier Wi-Fi standard due to the increased signal intensity. 802.11n equipment will be backward compatible with 802.11g appliances.

                          * superiority of 802.11n - fastest maximum speed and best signal range; more resistant to signal interference from outside sources
                          * weaknesses of 802.11n - standard is not yet completed; cost more than 802.11g; use of the various signals can be very disturbing nearby 802.11b / g based networks.
